Steel String Singer

After years of research, I am proud to finally offer the holy grail of D-style amplifiers: the legendary Steel String Singer.

This build is based on the original circuit—no “ballpark” interpretations or approximations. It is modelled after the original SSS #005.

It features the original-style cathode follower driver tube stage, along with the high/low step filter network found in the classic design.

This amplifier was associated with artists such as Carlos Santana and Eric Johnson.

Available with optional FET input.

Power options: 20W, 50W, 100W, and 150W
Configurable as a head, 1×12 combo, or 1×15 combo.
